I’m finally getting a break from all of you and all of this and all of everything. I’m falling sick and still there are tons of things to do, people to look after, things to take care of. I can’t wait to be on my way [i was tempted to bring my laptop with me, but i decided what the heck] away from civilisation as the world knows it, technology [although my phone is necessary =) ] and my email inbox. I’m so glad that i’m just up and leaving, with no care in the world about everything. I’m just dumping all’you n ciao-ing.
of course i’d have to face them all again when i come back, but oh well. Retreating is good sometimes. If only i could bring my blankie along to camp out under, now that would make retreating all the better. See ya!
Haha i’m supposed to be in college, but i left my pattern blocks behind so i asked for permission to make a "quick" trip back to get them. I left at 11.30am, lunch is from 12-2pm… So i get a 2 and 1/2hr lunch break today! So here i am, bumming around.

Everyday there’s some irritation in my life, be it skin-wise or people-wise.
Some people really irritate me.
Some, even go to the FAR FAR extents of REALLY REALLY annoying me.

Hm, too many to mention i guess. Unforgettable = my 16th birthday. My two happy surprises.

Hmm, that’s the kind of situation i’m having trouble with right now. I’m in love with me, myself and i am having too much trouble deciding between me and myself. They’re both excellent people =)

It seems i am attracted more to friends who are opposites of me, but i guess anyone who has quick wit, good humour and a good sense of humour would be good.

A perhaps-not-so-very-interesting-to-you story about life:
…and Erin’s a procrastinator. So what do procrastinators [like me] do? They like to procrastinate. So procrastinate she did, this Erin did.
She left her final project to the very final end and rushed through her work like a jet. Like a jet, she left trails of mayhem behind, splattered all over the pages. The judgement day came, a dreadful short Friday, she still hadn’t finished, her hands coloring as fast as she can. She berated herself for being so foolish, and dumb and idiotic and a failure. Then in walks her mate, confused to why poor Erin was rushing, when the deadline was only on Monday.
"Phew!", Erin said, "What a relief! I rushed all this time for nothing." So she goes on home, and lives to tell, the story of her amazing God and His mercies.
Now Monday is here, and she’s finished her work but she dreads having to meet her awful lecturer. But she strolled boldly down, to his office and found that he was sick and in bed! Hahaha, Erin shouted with glee in her heart, not for the fact that he’s sick. But because of the many many small mercies she’d received.
I wasn’t supposed to go for Threadszoo, had a last minute meeting so i decided against going, but ended up i could, cos the meeting was shortened. So i ended up bumping into Qian and Swen there. Didn’t take any pictures, but i did haul some stuff home.
Anyway, more important things have happened in life. Like AFC, the new committee and the meets, so here’s a peek at what happened at the last meet.
I had loads of fun ahaha so you guys come for the next one okay =) Watch for updates on the AFC blog. Oh yeah, all you AFCian bloggers who read my blog, please link to the AFC site, so we can let everyone know and they can visit it themselves for updates.
This is only part of the stuff that’s been bugging my mind. But well, it’s better now that other people are picking up the slack so i don’t have to do it all by myself. Thank goodness i don’t have to completely go bonkers wondering what to do for the next meet. Still bonkers but not as much hehe. It’s late now, so i’ll continue my boring updates to life another time. Haven’t had the time to sit down to blog interesting things lately, so many apologies for that. Sigh, do you know that i can tell the future? at least my own. And that also it’s limited to the very near future.
I predict… that i will be very busy from today onwards. I will have lots of work [what ever happened to nice predictable predictions like you will have lots of money and handsome men running after you?] and i will have to use my brain more than the usual [which probably amounts to less than 1%]. Not only that, i will have to really BE responsible - not just talk about it [heh heh] - and be organized and not procrastinate ANYTHING.
I also predict… that i will probably fail half these things. Ha ha. But it’s good to be a failure…cos then i can be made perfect in Christ. I could predict that… with God’s strength, i’ll be able to accomplish this.
Responsibility and diligence : my two small hard things.
Wow, i’ve been busy busy busy in the last week or so. So many things going on, but it’s finally come to an end as i start my next semester tomorrow. I’m finally not free anymore people, so stop taking for granted that i’m free to do everything =)

Thomas Beatie is a man and he’s pregnant.
What’s more: biologically, he’s a woman.
Confused yet: he [originally a she] had decided to get gender reassignment. Thomas took testosterone and had his breasts removed, but he kept the vagina.
More to frazzle you: His partner, is not able to bear children and they really wanted biological children, so Thomas went off his bi-monthly testosterone injections and now they’re expecting a baby girl in July.
Oh dear.
